On December 4, 2013 at 10:13 p.m., officers from the North Bay Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) detachment were called to a vehicle in the ditch on MacPherson Drive, East Ferris Township.
As a result of police investigation the driver, Devon HAMILTON, 32 years old, of Corbeil, Ontario was charged with the following:
Driving while ability impaired, section 253(1)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada;
2. Take Motor Vehicle without consent, section 335(1) of the Criminal Code of Canada; and with
3. Driving While Under Suspension, section 53(1) of the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario.
He is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in North Bay on December 17, 2013.
