Paul St man charged with theft of motor vehicle

At 7:52 a.m. 01st Dec police responded to report of a fail to remain at 1st Av W at Commercial St.

A male driver was seen fleeing on foot after hitting a fence with the pickup truck he was driving.

Investigation revealed that the truck had just been stolen from a parking lot on Cassells St.  

The alleged driver was located on the 500 block of Algonquin in possession of items stolen from the pickup.

Ryley Joseph 20 years of and theft under $5000.

He is to appear in court on the 14th Jan 2014.

Cst Greg Randall is investigating.
