Owen Sound - Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Child Sexual Exploitation Unit have charged an Owen Sound man following a two week on-line child pornography investigation.
On November 21, 2013 police from the OPP Child Sexual Exploitation Unit and the Owen Sound Police Service executed a search warrant at an Owen Sound residence.
As a result of this investigation, two computers and other items pertinent to the investigation were seized which contained images of child sexual abuse.
Michael ANTHES, age 40 years, of Owen Sound Ontario is charged with one count of Possession of Child Pornography, one count of and one count of Accessing Child Pornography.
The accused attended a bail hearing on November 22, 2013 and he was released on conditions.
He is scheduled to appear on January 9, 2014 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound Ontario.
The investigation is continuing.
