On Thursday 21 November 2013, a female attended a business at Northgate Square to shop.
The female purchased a few larger items, however concealed several smaller items, leaving the store making no attempt to pay for the concealed items.
The female was approached and arrested by store security at which time the female resisted.
North Bay Police attended and took custody of the female.
Charged with one count of theft under $5000 and Resist Arrest is 48 year old Pamela Gatt of North Bay. Gatt was held for a bail hearing.
The North Bay Police take this opportunity to remind citizens that all retail outlets step up security this time of year and that being charged with the criminal offence of Theft is both costly and life changing.
