Kapuskasing - Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Child Sexual Exploitation Unit, OPP Technological Crime Unit and the Kapuskasing OPP Detachment have arrested and charged a Kapuskasing man following an on-line undercover child pornography investigation.
On November 18, 2013 police executed a search warrant at a Kapuskasing residence. As a result of this investigation, two computer systems and external media were seized which contained images of child sexual abuse.
On November 18, 2013, police arrested Kevin James LOVQUIST, 52 years-old of Kapuskasing, Ontario. He is charged with two counts of Possession of Child Pornography, one count of Making Available Child Pornography and one count of Accessing Child Pornography. The accused will appear for a bail hearing on November 20, 2013 in Cochrane, Ontario at the Ontario Court of Justice.
The investigation is continuing.
