Robbery suspect returned to the Bay

On the 4th Nov, Calgary Police arrested a man wanted by North Bay Police for a convenience store robbery on the 13th May 2013.

The robbery investigation had resulted in Canada wide warrants for robbery and forcible confinement being issued for two suspects.

Brian McCabe 21 years was returned from Calgary to North Bay on 7th Nov by D/Csts Peter Brunette and Jason Long.

He is being held in custody for a bail hearing.

The second suspect was arrested in Kirkland Lake in August; returned to North Bay and has since been held in custody.

The robbery had involved two male suspects assaulting the clerk then physically confining him while threatening to stab and shoot him.

No weapons were seen at the time.
