Register today for Stache Dash charity run North Bay, the 1st annual. The purpose of the event is to raise money and awareness for men’s health, and all forms of cancer, and get a little exercise at the same time.

Our vision is to have an impact by supporting Mens health, cancer awareness, education, and staying mentally healthy.

Men, Women, all are welcome and encouraged to run, of course all funds go to charity.

About

On November 30th, 2013, the North Bay Waterfront will become home to the first annual Stache Dash charity run. This locally planned and organized event is in support of Movember and all proceeds will be donated to the charity in support of men’s health across Canada.

This year’s event will consist of a 5km and 10km run travelling along Memorial Drive and the Kate Pace Way. All registered participants will received a race kit, a participation medal, as well as a $20 tax receipt (issued by Movember). Everyone is welcome to register, wear a Mo, and come out and run!

The race will start on the North Bay waterfront right outside The Boat, Dockside Bar & Grill.

Race kit pick up is between 8:00am-9:00am. There are no day of registrations.

10km runners start at 9:15am
5km runners start time 9:30am

Everyone will receive a Stache Dash medal for finishing their race.

What is Movember?

During November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men’s faces, in Canada and around the world. With their “Mo’s”, these men raise vital funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and men’s mental health initiatives.

FACTS

1 in 4 Canadians die of Cancer.

1 in 7 men will be diagnosed with Prostate cancer in there lifetime.

Testicular cancer is the most common cancer in Canadian men between the ages of 15-29.

1 in 4 Cancer patient's experience clinical depression.

An estimated 6.6% of the population over the age of 20 has diabetes in Canada.
