Friends of Laurier Woods

The Friends of Laurier Woods, a non-profit charitable organization, has scheduled a themed interpretive hike for Saturday, October 26th, 10:00a.m., starting from the parking lot at the end of Brule Street.
In the hour-long “Walk of the Living Dead” Fred Pinto, President of The Friends will describe the ecological role of dead plants and trees in nature.
The guided walk is being offered at no cost to the public.
Laurier Woods, within the heart of the City of North Bay and adjacent to Home Depot, features a 6.5 kilometre trail network through significant wetlands and upland forest.
