ARC meeting for Burk’s Falls Area Schools happening Wednesday Update

The ARC meeting scheduled for Wednesday, October 30 at 6:30 p.m. will now take place at Almaguin Highlands Secondary School in the Cafetorium.

Currently there is a loss of heat in the auditorium and a few other rooms at Land of Lakes Public School.

The second of four Accommodation Review Committee (ARC) meetings is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, October 30 at Land of Lakes Public School, located at 92 Ontario Street in Burk’s Falls at 6:30 p.m. The meeting was originally scheduled to take place at M.A. Wittick Public School, but has been moved to accommodate for more seating.

The meeting involves schools in the Burks Fall’s area and includes Almaguin Highlands Secondary School, Land of Lakes Public School, M.A. Wittick Public School, Magnetawan Central School, South River Public School and Sundridge Centennial Public School.

This ARC meeting and the third ARC meeting, scheduled for November 27, have been designated for parent and community input. Participants are asked to provide a written submission two (2) days in advance of the meeting.
