ESTAIRE – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Sudbury Detachment, under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) Detective Inspector Mike Bickerton, is continuing the investigation that started on October 7, 2013 into the murder of Sheri-Lynn McEwan, 40 years of age from Estaire.
As part of the ongoing investigation, the OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) and the OPP Helicopter have conducted and are continuing an extensive evidence search of the crime scene and area. Working alongside detectives from across North East Region are specialists with E-crime and Forensic Identification Service and the OPP Criminal Profiling Unit.
