Two Chelmsford men charged with assault

On the 12th Oct at 2:30 a.m. officers attended a disturbance on Main St at Wyld St when a man who had been involved in the fighting, assaulted 2 police officers that were clearing the crowd.

He was arrested after pepper spray was utilized to gain his compliance.

Eric Berthiaume 26 years of Chelmsford was charged with 2 counts of assault police, obstruct police, cause a disturbance, and breach of a court order.

A second male also involved in a fight, used a cast on his arm as a weapon that injured another male.

Josh Deppish 21 years of Chelmsford was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon, assault cause bodily harm and cause a disturbance. Both men were held in custody for bail hearings.
