The North Bay Police Service has concluded a yearlong investigation into an internal fraud perpetrated against a local business by their former office manager.
In September of 2012 a local company made a formal complaint to the North Bay Police Service about a long term employee and a number of inappropriate financial records that had been altered to cover up her fraudulent activity.
Detective Constable Denis Levasseur has since charged and released Sharon Elliott of Callander with 6 counts of Fraud over $5000, 2 counts of Fraud under $5000, 1 count of theft over $5000 and 1 count of falsifying books.
She is scheduled to appear in court to face the charges in mid October.
