Conservation Authority celebrates Chippewa Creek EcoPathTuesday, October 01, 2013 by: Kate AdamsNorth Bay-Mattawa Conservation Authority
Over 40 volunteers came out on Saturday September 28 to get some work done and celebrate the one year Anniversary since the opening of the Chippewa Creek EcoPath, and acknowledge those that have adopted a section of Chippewa Creek.
The volunteers helped weed, mulch and clean-up litter along Chippewa Creek between John Street and Hammond Street. To help celebrate we served cake and refreshments to all present followed by a photo opportunity with all groups with their signs that have adopted a section.
These signs will be posted along the trail in the area they have adopted for 2 years.
Sections still available for adoption!
