City duo faces assault charges

A domestic situation at 12:50 a.m. on the 26th Sept resulted in the arrest of both participants, a 19 year old female and a 23 year old male.

She was charged with assault with a weapon for trying to stab him with a pair of scissors and he was charged with assault for punching her several times in the head.

Sgt Paul Brewer and Cst Randy Adair are investigating.
