City officials announced today that North Bay will join hundreds of cities and towns from coast to coast and participate in the nationwide event ‘Culture Days’ from September 27 to the 29th.

From visual arts, music, dance, theatre, architecture, heritage, film and video, literature, culinary arts and new media, the City’s Cultural Round Table Committee members have organized over 20 activities and events over the weekend to demonstrate and define what culture is in the Bay.

“Culture is an integral part of what makes our community so vibrant and we are very proud and excited to be participating again in Culture Days. This annual event is an opportunity to publicly showcase the enormous talent and creativity that exists right here in North Bay. I encourage everyone to express their love of culture by participating in some of the fantastic free activities offered. Get out and discover our wonderfully talented local artists and cultural offerings; roll up your sleeves and get creative yourself!” said Mayor Al McDonald.
