Copeland St man charged with assault police with intent to resist arrest

At 1:30a.m. on 24th Sept North Bay Police responded to a complaint of a male checking cars on Beth Ave.

A young man was located, lied about his name, and resisted arrest in a combative manner. A subsequent search of his person located latex gloves and a knife.

Nik Morris 18yrs of Copeland St has been charged with obstruct police, assault police with intent to resist arrest, possession of a concealed weapon, possession of break in instruments, and 3 counts of breach of probation.

He has been held in custody for a bail hearing.

Csts Steve Brown and Blake Vietmeier are investigating.
