As of 7:02 PM EDT Friday September 13, Environment Canada continued the Frost warning for North Bay - Powassan - Mattawa and West Nipissing - French River
Frost likely overnight into early Saturday morning.
A chilly Arctic airmass has been ushered in today with brisk northerly winds making it feel much more like October.
Under clearing skies and diminishing winds tonight as a high pressure ridge builds in, temperatures will plunge to near the freezing mark for several hours across most locales in the region. As a result frost is likely overnight and into Saturday morning.
Frost will end later Saturday morning as temperatures rise quickly to well above freezing.
Tender plants should be protected or brought indoors away from the cold this evening if possible.
