On 11 Sept a Barrie resident, Jean-Rene Lefebvre 29 years was arrested by Barrie Police Service on a 2011 North Bay warrant for assault and assault with a weapon.
In Aug of 2011 it was alleged that a woman was shoved and burned with a cigarette at a downtown bar.
The Barrie Police transported the accused to North Bay where he has been held in custody for a bail hearing.
