On September 5, 2013 at approximately 2:00 pm, members of the North Bay Fire Department and the North Bay Police Service attended the area of 895 Jet Avenue regarding a fire that appears to have been deliberately set in a pile of railway ties.
At times the fire was approximately 10 feet high, which posed a danger to the surrounding businesses and residences.
A similar incident occurred on August 29, 2013.
Constable Kavanagh is the investigating officer for the most recent incident however, anyone with information regarding either of these dangerous incidents is urged to contact the North Bay Police Service.
