North Bay Police Service

On the 3rd of September 2013 at approximately 11:00 a.m., officers of the North Bay Police Service were called to a disturbance on Worthington Street East.
Upon arrival, officers observed an agitated male who was uncooperative with police. The male was placed under arrest but managed to flee. Officers apprehended the male after a brief foot pursuit at which time the male assaulted the officers while resisting arrest.
Charged with 1 count of Cause Disturbance, 1 count of Assault Police with Intent to Resist Arrest and 2 counts of Breach of Probation is 36 year old Rusty Powell of North Bay.
Mr. Powell was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
