New Liskeard man charged with possession of child pornography

CITY OF TEMISKAMING SHORES - A 34-year-old male is facing a charge of possessing child pornography.

Members of the Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and the Temiskaming Crime Unit commenced an investigation on August 22, 2013 at approximately 3:36 p.m.

The OPP Child Sexual Exploitation Unit will also be assisting with the investigation.

Brandon LATOUR of New Liskeard is charged for Possession of Child Pornography – section 163.1(4) of the Criminal Code.

The investigation is ongoing.

Accused will appear in Haileybury Ontario Court of Justice on November 12, 2013.
