City man dies in Hwy 522 motor vehicle collision

Powassan – On 23 August at approximately 4:30pm members of the Powassan (OPP) were dispatched to a single motor vehicle collision on Highway 522 in Nipissing Township.

Initial investigation has revealed the single motor vehicle a 2003 GMC Sierra lost control, with the driver being ejected from the vehicle. The driver of the GMC pickup truck was pronounced dead at the scene by an attending coroner.

Members of the Technical Traffic Collision Investigations (TTCI) were called to assist in the investigation.

Deceased is Ryan James ARNOLD, 24yrs old, of 351 Worthington Street E, North Bay, Ontario.
