Nominations now open for the Ontario Heritage Trust awards

Nominations are now open for the Ontario Heritage Trust’s 2013 Recognition Programs, Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli said today.



“These awards celebrate the efforts of individuals, groups and communities which contribute to preservation and promotion of the built, cultural and natural heritage of Ontario,” Fedeli said.



“Please take time to ensure that the many worthy nominees in Nipissing receive consideration.”



Awards are presented in the Heritage Community Recognition, Young Heritage Leaders and Community Leadership Programs. Nomination forms must be endorsed by council motions unless otherwise noted.



The nomination deadline is September 30.
