Annual Farmer's Market corn festival goes this SaturdayWednesday, August 14, 2013 by: Kate AdamsNorth Bay Farmers’ Market
This coming Saturday August 17th, the North Bay Farmers’ Market will be hosting the Annual Corn Festival. Stop by for hot, farm, fresh corn, slathered in butter, for only $2.00 a piece, or take home a bag of fresh picked corn, offered by select vendors.
Take a few minutes to stroll through the Market, where you will find a diverse group of people offering their products to the community, they are some of the finest growers, producers of food, crafters and artisans from the area. They work from week to week to provide a varied array of items, with you, the customer, in mind.
For your listening enjoyment we will have Mel Felhaber, you may have seen him perform with the Lobster Porsche Naughty Bits this past June at the Relay for Life. Mel will bring along both his guitar and fiddle, which should make for a lively day… Weather permitting Ken Black our balloon artist/busker and face painter/busker Haili Hanselman will be on hand for the children.
The market is open every Saturday 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. – RAIN or SHINE at Parking Lot #10, behind the North Bay Bus Terminal, beside our neighbors the Discovery North Bay Museum, where right now you will see PATCHWORK ART, A North Bay Quilting Show… August 8th to September 3, 2013
