Parry Sound OPP seek public assistance in boating collision on Georgian Bay

On 08 Aug 2013 at approx. 3:00pm two boats collided just south of Two Mile Narrows in the south channel of Georgian Bay, south of Parry Sound. As a result of the collision, both vessels were damaged and serious injuries were sustained by the occupants of one vessel. The operator of that boat travelled back to Parry Sound for medical assistance while the other vessel remained at the scene.

The driver of that vessel did not provide any contact information to the injured people and left the scene prior to police arriving. Police are looking to speak to the operator of that boat described as a 16-20 ' dark blue or black bass type boat with damage to the front, left side of the vessel.
