City police apprehend snake on the loose (Photos)

On Thurs Aug 8th at 11:00 p.m. North Bay Police responded to a complaint of a large snake loose on the 200 block of Hutchison St.

The officers attended, located a 4ft long python on a sidewalk near an apartment complex. The officers took custody of the snake, brought it to the police station where it was picked up by the North Bay Humane Society.

The owner of the python has not been determined.

Csts Aaron Northrup and Steve Carleton are investigating.
