17 year old charged with possession of stolen property

At 11:13p.m. on the 31st July a traffic complaint at Algonquin and McKeown Ave resulted in the arrest of a 17 yr old male.

The North Bay Police stopped the vehicle on Josephine St and the driver could not keep his story straight.

A phone call to the registered owner in New Liskeard revealed that the vehicle was thought to be still in the owner’s driveway.

The 17 year old has been charged with possession of stolen property, obstruct peace officer, and 2 counts of breach of probation.

He was held in custody for a bail hearing. Cst Ashley St.John is investigating.
