Two people charged after West Nipissing Police execute search warrant

On July 25, 2013, the West Nipissing Police Service executed a drug warrant on a residence located on Levesque St in Sturgeon Falls. Upon arrival, two occupants were located in the bedroom sitting on a bed with a large amount of pills in front of them. They were immediately arrested and taken into custody.

The residence was searched and officers located a large amount of different types of drugs including marijuana, Methamphetamine (Speed), Percocets along with Canadian currency.

As a result of this investigation, a total of over $2200 worth of drugs and cash were seized.

A 29 year old male was charged with 2 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1 count of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and 1 count of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.

He was held in custody awaiting a bail hearing.

The other occupant was a 28 year old female. She was charged with 2 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance and later released on a Promise to Appear.
