Quebec man charged with trafficking Fentanyl

On the 22nd July at 10:02 a.m. a North Bay Police Street Crime investigation led to the arrest of a Quebec man while he was parking his vehicle at Seymour St near the Bypass.

A search of the vehicle located a large amount of pharmaceutical drugs that included:

- 50 – 100 microgram Fentanyl patches
- 5 – 25 microgram Fentanyl patches
- 53 – 6 mg Hydromorphone capsules
- 460 – 24 mg Hydromorphone capsules
- 180 – 80 mg Oxyneo pills
- 100 – 40 mg Oxyneo pills
- 243 – 80 mg Oxycodone pills
- 223 – 40 mg Oxycodone pills
- 519 – 20 mg Oxycodone pills
- 216 – 5 mg Oxycodone pills
- 25 – 0.5 mg Clonazepam
- 18 – 30 mg Codeine pills
- 1 – Buprenorphine pill
- 77 unknown pills
The total number of pills seized is 2093 with an estimated street value of $104,608.

Vital Yale 57yrs of St Sophie Quebec has been charged with trafficking Fentanyl, possession of Buprenorphine, and 5 counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking relating to the Fentanyl, Cloazepam, Codeine, Oxycodone and Hydromorphone.

He has been held in custody or a bail hearing. The 2001 Honda CRV that he was driving has also been seized as offence related property.
