Environment Canada issues Humidex advisory for the Bay

Environment Canada issued a Humidex advisory for North Bay - West Nipissing at 4:58 AM Tuesday 16 July 2013.

- High humidex values expected today.

A broad ridge of high pressure will continue to dominate the weather over the Nickel Belt today. Humidex values are expected to peak near 40 today as maximum temperatures reach the low thirties.

An exception to this will be for northern portions of the Superior East region where slightly cooler and drier conditions are expected to keep humidex values in the mid to high thirties.

A cold front is expected to move across the regions on Wednesday, with temperatures dropping a few degrees to more seasonal values. There will also be a chance of isolated showers or thunderstorms.

This is an advisory that high humidex values are expected in these regions.
