Chalotte St man charged with theft under $5000

On the 14th July at 12:56a.m. a man was observed to use a grinder to remove a lock from the coin box of a vacuum at the Seymour Car Wash.

On arrival of police, the man was located hiding in a ditch nearby. A search located a hacksaw, screw driver, and grinder cut off blades.

Bernard Soucie 40 years of Chalotte St was arrested and charged with mischief under $5000, theft under $5000, and possession of burglary tools.

He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
