‘Glee’ star Cory Monteith found dead in Vancouver

‘Glee’ star Cory Monteith, was found dead in a Vancouver hotel room Saturday. Acting Chief Constable Doug LePard confirmed that Monteith's body was discovered by staff members at the Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel after he failed to checkout on time.

Acting Chief Constable Doug LePard confirmed that Monteith's body was discovered by staff members at the Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel after he failed to checkout on time.

LePard said the cause of death was not immediately apparent, but they have ruled out foul play.
Medical examiners will conduct an autopsy Monday.

Monteith, 31, born in Alberta was a recovering addict having checked into a drug addiction treatment facility this year.

'Glee' castmates in shock took to social media with statements on hearing the news.

"No" was all Mark Salling tweeted after the police news conference.

"I have no words! My heart is broken. Cory was not only a hell of a friend, he was one amazing man that I will hold close to my heart forever," tweeted Dot-Marie Jones, who plays the football coach.

"I am blessed to have worked with him and love him so much! My heart is with his family and our whole Glee family! I love you all!"

Monteith was dating Glee co-star Lea Michele.
