Suzanne Brooks says the Gulliver’s Co-op Committee meeting last night went very well.

"We had 56 people, plus the steering committee, and we now have raised $50,000.00 in pledged money."

"The CCO (Conseil de Co-operation de l'Ontario) rep will start the paperwork to create the co-op legally now."

Brooks says the group needs to raise $150,000 for the project to be complete.

"So there is lots of work still to do but we have an excellent start."
