Living up to his end of a bargain Main Street TD Canada Trust Branch Manager Charles Elliot sported one of the finest green dresses the city has to offer to celebrate a successful grass roots fundraising campaign for the Children's Miracle Network.

Elliot says each branch is asked to take on the annual drive and be creative in reaching their goal so his staff approached him at the beginning of June challenging him to wear the dress in public if they were able to raise $1,000 in donations. Elliot raised that stakes to $1,500 for whole deal dress, heels and jewellery so his staff rose to the challenge and today they announced they surpassed the goal raising $1789.

While enjoying a great laugh with the public and staff Elliot told reporters his eldest son had a medical issue when he was 5 years old and knows first-hand the importance of having support from agencies like the Children's Miracle Network for parents facing difficult situations with their children.
