City man charged with possession of child pornography

The North Bay Police Service have arrested and charged a North Bay man following a child pornography investigation.

In February 2013 the North Bay Police seized a computer and obtained a Search Warrant to conduct a Forensic examination of the computer.

A Forensic examination was conducted by the Ontario Provincial Police e-crimes unit where numerous images of child sexual abuse were located.

On July 8th, 2013, 54 year old Terry Dixon was arrested and charged with Possession of Child Pornography.

The accused was released on a Promise to Appear and an Officer in Charge Undertaking with a court date of August 20th, 2013.
