Ann St. man charged with assault with a weapon

At 10:50p.m. on the 19th June, North Bay Police responded to an assault call at the North Bay Regional Health Centre.

Investigation revealed that a man had thrown a chair at a woman then ripped a railing from a wall and smashed a doorway.

Justin Betts 19 years of Ann St was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon and 2 counts of mischief.

He was held in custody for a bail hearing.

Cst Christian Elia is investigating.
