SMOKE ADVISORY

Residents in the Sudbury area and in southern Ontario may notice the smell of smoke or haze throughout the day.

Wind speed and direction is causing smoke from forest fires burning in Quebec to drift into parts of the province.

For information on the fire situation in Quebec, visit www.sopfeu.qc.ca.

Smoke and haze will linger today and part of tomorrow, at which time, wind direction is expected to shift.

People who have questions about their health and smoke should contact their family physician or Telehealth Ontario (1-866-797-0000 or TTY at 1-877-797-0007).
