Thanks to the Union Gas staff for helping out with this week's Wednesday Night Clean Up on Main St. W. Focusing on one of the city's areas that receives repeated dumping and was cleaned up just last summer, mattresses, an old couch, tires and bags of roadside litter were all picked up by the evening's volunteers.

Plastics continue to be the biggest source of litter
While increasing amounts of paper may be bio-degradeable they are still an eyesore by the roadside.

Thank you to everyone, adults and kids, for making
a small part of our City look better.
