The Multiple Sclerosis North Bay branch is set to host its first ever Health Services Fair.

The free event will be held June 1st, from 10 to 2, at the North Bay Elk’s Lodge.

More than 15 local health-related, non-profit charities will be part of the fair, which will also include guest speakers on topics that would benefit anyone who has a chronic disease, or someone who cares for them. Speakers will address both the physical and mental well-being of patients.

The Health Services Fair is designed to bring members of the public together with members of some of the health charities in the area, to meet and get information. Many local residents dealing with a chronic, serious condition may not know there are groups that can support them.

As well as displays and speakers, there will be information tables set up for people to get information from other health related agencies within the city.
