Suspect in fatal hit and run collision pleads guilty

Reports indicate that the driver in the Wyld St fatal hit and run collision in March has pleaded guilty.

Media outlets are reporting that Ehren Schneider, 31, plead guilty in a North Bay court Tuesday to failing to stop at the scene of a collision causing death and criminal negligence causing death.

Claudette Benoit, 53, who was walking home from work on Wyld Street, when at 3:04 pm on the March 27th she was struck by a vehicle and succumbed to her injuries.
