3rd Ave. man charged with sexual interference

At 4:45 pm on the 5th May Officers at the lakefront observed a man on the sex offender registry to be with a young girl.

When approached by the officer the subject attempted to assault the officer, then fled on foot and when caught, tried to assault the officer again.

Steven Paquette 21 yrs of 3rd Ave was physically subdued, arrested and charged with sexual interference, 2 counts of assault police, and breach of probation.

He has been held in custody for a bail hearing.
