City police release domestic violence stats for April

During the month of April the North Bay Police responded to 90 domestic related occurrences that resulted in the arrest of 22 men and 3 women.

A total of 51 charges were laid that included 22 assaults, 2 assaults with a weapon,5 for mischief, 6 for uttering threats, 1 forcible confinement, 1 forcible entry, 1 public mischief, 2 for theft under $5000, 5 breaches of an undertaking, 5 breaches of probation and 1 for criminal harassment.
