On behalf of the Canadore College Board of Governors, and its employees, the College extends our deepest condolences to the Burrows Family.

“Jack’s contributions to North Bay were great and his achievements in public life were many. He was a strong leader with a gentle approach. Jack Burrows will be missed by all who knew him,” said Canadore College Board Chair, William Ferguson.

Jack Burrows was a tireless supporter of the City of North Bay and of Canadore College. As mayor, Mr. Burrows left our city well-positioned for growth and development and Canadore has benefited from that hard work. Mr. Burrow’s vision of the city always included a strong and vibrant Canadore College.

“Jack Burrows exemplified what hard work, determination and a sense of community could do for the enhancement of our city and its residents,” said Canadore College President George Burton. “He was a role model and inspiration to many.”
