It's almost time to 'WAKE UP THE HORSES'

On Saturday, May 4, 10:00 am, the North Bay Heritage Train and Carousel Company is asking for support from the community to help “WAKE UP THE HORSES” at the North Bay Waterfront. This event is for cleaning and polishing our two famous carousels in preparation of its official opening to the public on May 10 @ 4:00 pm. After 18 years of operation, the North Bay Heritage Train and Carousel has become a world-renowned attraction with over a million riders to date. Our horses get dusty during their winter slumber so come on out on Saturday to help polish them up in preparation for another great season for riders from all over the world. It starts at 10:00 am, rain or shine, a perfect chance to see up close the intricate details that has been hand carved into each of the horses.

On Friday, May 10, 4:00 pm, the North Bay Heritage Train and Carousel Company is officially opening for its 2013 operating season.

Our operating hours will be Fridays 4:00 pm till dusk. Saturdays and Sundays 10:00 am until dusk with weather permitting. Sunday May 12 is Mother’s Day so bring out the whole family to celebrate this special event. We are located on Memorial Drive beside North Bay’s beautiful waterfront.
