St. Joseph-Scollard Hall is once again gearing up for its annual Spring Food Drive.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, April 16th, teams of students and staff will be canvassing the streets of Callander and Powassan from 5pm until 8pm. Food collected will benefit the Callander and Powassan food banks respectively.

Last year, 1168 pounds of food was collected for the Callander Food Bank, while 1102 pounds were collected for the food bank in Powassan. Food drive organizers are hoping to beat last year's totals this year.

Canvassers will be going door to door in the main core of each community tomorrow night. Citizens can also drop off their non-perishable food donations to either St. Theresa School in Callander or St. Gregory School in Powassan between 5pm and 8pm.

The food drive in North Bay, where St. Joseph-Scollard Hall teams up with Ecole Secondaire Odyssee to canvass the City of North Bay, will take place next Tuesday, April 23rd from 5pm until 8pm. Last year, SJSH and Odyssee raised 7525 pounds of food for the North Bay Food Bank.
