OKP and Battalion join forces

One Kids Place Children’s Treatment Centre and the North Bay Battalion of the Ontario Hockey League will join forces to help raise funds for children and youth with special needs by hosting the ONE KIDS PLACE CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT PRESENTED BY THE NORTH BAY BATTALION on June 20 at Osprey Links.

“We are very excited to be hosting this golf tournament with the North Bay Battalion and thank the team for their support,” Bill Riley, Co-Chair of the golf tournament stated. “Proceeds from the tournament will help expand supportive programs, services and specialized equipment for the children, youth and families served by One Kids Place.”

The day of golf will not only be helping children and youth with special needs in the community, but will be a fantastic day filled with great golf, great food and great friends.

Members of the Battalion organization will be on hand at the golf tournament to help make the day a great success.

“It’s always been important to our organization that we support community initiatives,” said Battalion president Mike Griffin. “We are honoured to be involved with the Children’s Treatment Centre and the many kids with special needs it serves.”
