Monday, April 22 - EARTH DAY
Join Greening Nipissing along the Chippewa Creek EcoPath for a noon hour spring clean up between 12pm to 1:30pm when you are able. Come out for a short time on your lunch hour and take a break from the office. Exact meeting spot TBA. Call 705-472-0200 Ext. 2 to let us know you'll be coming. Open to the public and free. Tuesday, April 23 - Ontario Government Building Earth Fair
Greening Nipissing will have an information booth set up at 200 First Ave. W in the Atrium for Ontario Government workers to browse. Time: 12:00pm to 1:30pm.

Wednesday, April 24 - Guest speaker and Film Screening
Come to the North Bay Public Library for 6:30pm with guest speaker and chiropractor Dr. Mark Swain. Talk entitled "Inside Environment, Outside Environment" in the library auditorium. A Greening Screening of the Canadian documentary “White Water, Black Gold.” The film is an investigative point-of view documentary that follows David Lavallee on his three-year journey across western Canada in search of answers about the activities of the world’s thirstiest oil industry: the Tarsands.

VOLUNTEERING

Greening Nipissing is looking for a host to perform a depave event. Pavement would be removed with the help of volunteers to put in greenspace such as a garden. For more information visit www.depaveparadise.ca and call 705-472-0200x2
