Kipewa woman charged with uttering a forged document

At 8:13 pm on the 9th Apr a woman submitted a prescription for Demerol at a local pharmacy. The prescription was thought to be suspicious and when the woman returned to pick it up she was told there was a hold on it, at which time she left.

Subsequent investigation revealed it was a forgery. The police contacted the woman by phone and she turned herself in, on the 11th Apr.

Robin McKenzie 35yrs of Kipewa was charged with uttering a forged document and will attend court on 28th May.
