Then & Now is the theme of this year's DIA Banner Festival

Downtown North Bay (The Downtown Improvement Area) is proud to announce the return of a joint effort between the DIA Beautification Committee and the DIA Promotions Committee.


These committees are launching the third annual GATEWAY BANNER FESTIVAL – this event combines North Bay's cultural heritage and strong artistic community with our beautiful downtown.


This year’s theme is “Then & Now”


Everyone 12 years of age and over is invited to enter a banner design for the festival. Children under the age of 12 can team up with an adult.


The chosen designs will be painted by the designers themselves, and will hang in North Bay's downtown city streets from May to October 2013. The banners will be sold at a silent and live auction at the end of the festival.


Please note that your application is $10.00 and is refundable upon completion of submitted banner.


Application forms and design templates are available from various businesses in the downtown core, and completed forms can be dropped off at three locations: The DIA Office 133 Main Street West, The F.A.R.M. 154 Main Street West and Cheapskates 274 Main Street East.
