The Conseil scolaire catholique Franco-Nord school board is happy to announce the appointment of Monique Ménard as director of education and secretary-treasurer starting April 1st, 2013.

Ms. Ménard has worked in education for many years in two school boards, first as a teacher, then as teacher diagnostician, vice principal, principal and superintendent. Further, her experience as vice president of corporate services at Collège Boréal adds another important dimension to her work in this field. This extensive experience will allow Conseil scolaire catholique Franco-Nord to continue to distinguish itself by offering top-quality education in a Catholic environment.

Board chairman Ronald Demers states that he is very proud of this appointment: Ms. Ménard possesses all of the skills required to undertake a new strategic plan and help the board to continue to surpass itself.”

Ms. Ménard looks forward to working with the board: “It is with great pleasure that I return to Conseil scolaire catholique Franco-Nord. It will be an honour for me to pursue the project of excellence that is already well underway, to lead this dynamic team and to work closely with the board members, personnel and communities.”

The board thanks Cynthia Roveda, Director of Education, for her commitment throughout the years and extends its best wishes for a well-deserved retirement.
